Despised Traitorous Cultist

Hi,

this is my first attempt at a slaanesh daemon list (I play CSM but I think it's time for a new army with my birthday coming up). Please let me know what you think and any advice and tips are welcome.
I would like to stay with the Slaanesh theme but I am quite open to suggestions.

Keeper of Secrets (Greater reward) 190pts
10 Daemonettes 90pts
10 Daemonettes 90pts
10 Daemonettes 90pts
10 Seekers 120pts
Soulgrinder (Baleful Torrent, Daemon of Slaanesh) 170pts
Soulgrinder (Baleful Torrent, Daemon of Slaanesh) 170pts
2 Seeker Chariots 80pts

I am not really sure about the chariots so I would definitely consider swopping them out. Army strategy; I would outflank the Seekers and have the Soulgrinders on the board to start with and then move up.
The rest I would Deep Strike (maybe not the Keeper of Secrets but if I run him up the table I guess he will get destroyed pretty quickly). Like I say I am pretty new to Daemons so any advice is welcome.

This is how i run deamons at 1k or you could drop the KoS for Soul Grinder or drop all heralds for Dual grinders and 2 extra nettes in each squad

I would say if you're going full slaanesh, go for 3 troops of daemonette instead of one, since they can't take too many hits so you'll need that extra squad, Take the keeper of secrets, it's only 170 pts unupgraded and is really good for only costing 170 points. As for the heavy support I would limit the ammount of Soul Grinders to 1 since it doesn't really makes sence if you wanna have them both slaanesh, since you'll only have one option to use them. And you might want to consider getting a daemon prince (the slaanesh ones are really good). I am not the biggest fan of fast attack but if you want to have some fast attack I would recommend just keeping a troop of around 9 seekers for the fast attack. since your daemonettes are probably going to be your main force you could see if you can put some Heralds of Slaanesh in them. Also, if you can't find enough points for the heralds, replace them with The Masque it's a really good unit for not costing that many points. I hope this helped

List looks ok.

Keeper of secrets is a good HQ choice, just be careful, as he is more vulnerable than a flying HQ.

Troops are good, consider a portal glyph in non kill points games.

10 seekers....not sure about this. When supported seekers can be a great unit. However they normally require a herald with moves through cover and the grimoire, otherwise they are simply more expensive daemonettes when it comes to durability.

Soul grinders are cool, run 2 and they will put a good amount of pressure on almost any opponent.

Chariots.......no. I want to like them, and make use of them, but they are just so vulnerable. Because they lack a weapon, and are open topped, a penetrating shooting hit will effectively put a chariot out of play on a 3+ (either through immobilization or destroying it).

I'd take off the seekers and the chariots. This will give you 200 points. With these I would go for either another KoS or soul grinder (target saturation is the name of the game), and this will leave you with 30 points left for either a portalglyph or grimoire.

This is a pretty horrible list, I'm sorry. Over half of your points in HQ for a 1000 points game is already a gamble, but those heralds really do not pull their weight. Each one costs as much as 8 daemonettes or more but adds very little to the army.

This list has only has 47 T3 5++ wounds on the table, + the KoS. This will not last long against a gunline.

Why do you take so many etherblades? For other daemon choices they are a good pick. However because daemonettes already have rending, and will be wounding most things on a 5+ most of the time, they actually gain much less from the etherblades than other daemons would. Daemonettes do not have trouble with terminators, like other options like bloodletters would.

You have 100 points alone in this list on character upgrades and etherblades, this could be used for 11 more daemonettes instead.

I'd give the KoS some upgrades to help keep him alive, and possibly add another one instead of the heralds. Keep the mounted one to help the seekers. Consider using a grimoire to help keep them alive.
