So, the first of the three rumoured tyranid dataslates is up for pre-order, and it is indeed genestealers and lictors as predicted.

The preview images on GWs sight have a cuthulu-mouthed genestealer - this could *possibly* be the return of the Ymgarls. It would be nice if they hadn't removed a cool unit from the main dex to put it in another one, but I would also prefer not to lose them entirely.

There is also what looks to be a large unit of lictors lead by deathleaper, called an assassin brood.

Whilst the page mentions genestealer infestations, there is no sign of any human cultists -sigh-

These dataslates could save our codex, but with the first of their number being made up of two of our most fragile, least used units, I am a tad worried.
