Cheers guys, my most regular opponent is infact a nid player (one of 3 at my local store) and it helps that one of my other armies is nids to contribute a variety of corpses and armoured shells to the Orks. Working making choppas from scything talons and bone swords too.

Maybe give a Warboss a scythe made from a Carnifex's scything talon? Or a Hammer made of Crushing Claws? Maybe he could have had some Tyranid implants on him and now has scything talons coming out of his back?

These are great, really like the tyranid armour. Only thought and it is a personal preference... Have you thought of drilling the barrels of the guns?

I have thought about it, currently I lost my old pinvice and got a shiny new dremel however need a much smaller drillbit than I have currently to do anything gunbarrel size. Its something I intend to revisit when better equipped.

You do know that Heavy Support is not allowed in Kill Teams, right? Awesome paint job, though. The only vehicles allowed are dedicated transports with an armor facing total of 33 or less.

Kans are fast attack within a Dredmob army list so they manage to swing it. Couldnt find any restriction on only being allowed dedicated transports in the advent calendars kill team rules (hence the mekboy junka and kan in the list with a spanna unit)

List goes:

Mekboy Junka (Elite)

10 x Spannas (including mek with big shoota) (Troop)

Killa Kan (Fast Attack)

They do look good, a well themed unit. My only point is they need the bearrels drilling and then there complete.

I'd check they kill team rules though. It's normally no heavy support choices. I've never heard of changing Killa Kans to fast with a Drea mob list(what is this dreadmob list), a mekboy dosen't have any special rules allowing him to do such a thing? Besides this is a kill team list. I would double check with the event organiser to be safe.

As much as I love the kan, you considered 'looting' a Tyranid warrior or some such in its place?

Should make for a pretty decent kill team! I wanted to do the same with Kommandos and a Junka as a 'mobil kommand vekill' but sadly the FoC got in the way

When I get a hold the right drill I will be revisiting the barrel drilling
