Lego,
Any chance of adding a thumb friendly "next page" button in the mobile theme?
Not a huge deal, but it would make it easier when reading or catching up on threads with a few pages.

Definitely, I am going to make a bunch of mobile tweaks in the next few months and that is high on the list.
One alternative to the thumb friendly next button is having it automatically load the next page of threads and merge it on to the bottom as you scroll down (like facebook does when browsing the news feed). Do you all think that would be worthwhile for mobile/touchscreen browsing?

Yes, absolutely - that would be fantastic!

I don't even use mobile devices and I think this would be cool. Just a note though, would it be easy to tell what page you were on? In case you wanted to go back and reply to something on a traditional computer later on? Might be something that people could appreciate.

Yes, that would be splendid!
I would echo the need to retain the ability to mark where you are in the thread though, as another issue I've found is on some threads (and I've yet to find a common denominator as a user, but the Mierce thread in N+R is a repeat offender for me) seem to have 'first unread' amnesia, where the site seems to remember a specific point I've read to, but then doesn't update to a new point for some time, meaning I sometimes have to either scroll forward, or jump to a page manually.
