I don't always spot when someone has asked a question regarding a gallery image of mine. Is there any way to trigger a PM when someone comments on one of your images?

Also the text of that (and any other) PM being present in the email notification, similarly, would be awesome.

A revision of the gallery commenting system is very long overdue, but still a ways off unfortunately. The gallery is a distinct application from the rest of the site and only shares the single sign on code, and as such private message sending is not properly integrated and doing so is quite a bit of work. I'll get round to it eventually but my apologies for it not working well at the moment and being very easy to miss.

PM text in emails will likely not happen as a huge number of people start replying to the emails instead of going through the PM system - I've seen it happen a lot and it takes up a lot of time sending replies back to those people telling them to get back in to the site and send it properly to the user.
