Hello, people of Dakka.
While I'm new to this forum (that's not really true, I've been a spectre for a long time) I'm not new to the hobby. I used to be very involved with GW stuff, but my involvement ground to a halt, as it became too expensive to regularly partake in. I'll pick up the occasional new kit if it fancies me but other than that, I don't indulge any more. I want to change that; I want to get into the other companies and what they have to offer. With that being said, I am completely ignorant on where to buy. I'm looking for any stores in the West Edmonton area that sells Privateer Press or any model kits (I know about Comex Hobby, but their model kit section is incredibly small and boring with everything pre-painted), although a store in the WEM would optimal. I love their stuff, but I hate the shipping costs. I'm also looking for small, wooden cubes for some pixel art for my own enjoyment.
With my request up, I should probably tell you guys a little about myself*. I'm a 17-year old, socially awkward male who loves reading and writing. I also enjoy watching movies as well as the Regular Show and Adventure Time. Musically, I like to listen to a little bit of everything, from Electronic to Classical. I'm always looking for new songs to listen to while I'm modeling so feel free to send me music if you have anything you think is awesome. Regarding the tabletop hobby, I mostly dabble in the collecting and painting; I care little for the gaming side of things mainly because I don't have anyone to play with and because I like to focus on models that are "cool" instead of "legal".
TL;DR- Hi, I enjoy the tabletop hobby and this looks like one of the cooler forums devoted to it.
*I don't know how these things usually work...
