Alright so I'm working on my first 25pts list and I have a few ideas as to what I want in my list and I have been reading up on Khador on Battle College, but I would like to know what Khador vets think. Also would it work having the Beast 09 and the Spriggan together, because I know that the Khador usually don't run a lot of Warjacks which kind of sucks do to really liking the Khador warjacks.

I know there are a lot of lists here, but I just tossing some ideas around and new to the whole warmachine list building coming from 40k.

Sorscha loves her Beast 09. I would take it in every list I have with her, except when bringing the Behemoth at this point level. The Behemoth dropping two Pow14 bombs on a Stationary target will probably kill most casters. The only problem with this is if your opponent is Stealth, hidden from line of sight, or a variety of other things they can do to prevent having bombs dropped on their head.

It's up to you how you go; I'd probably take Beast though since I love his model and rules and pSorscha is a solid melee support caster. I wouldn't take any other warjacks. The rest of my points would be infantry. Either the Winterguard Deathstar or Doom Reavers. Some people might like the pikemen but I haven't found they can do anything that others can't do better. That said, they are a nice all-around unit and CMA is pretty sweet.

Thanks for the advice. I understand only having one warjack is usually better, but would it be ok to take the Kodiak due to his abilities in a list with Beast 09 at this point level. I like the Winter Guard Infantry and plan on getting more for those rocketeers are awesome, but I'm just wondering not dead set on anything. I'm leaning more towards list 4.

Definitely list 4.
The jacks don´t need lots of focus & you´ve got Joe in your list. NEVER run Winterguard without him. He really is the key to make them good. But you really need the UA too. WGI is cheap but really weak without them. The rest of the lists really is just a bunch of units thrown together without any synergy. Beast + Behemoth are way too expensive for 25 points, max units of Mechanics are... well usually you don´t take them at all and when you do you should be ok with a min unit.
Min unit Pikemen isn´t worth it either, you want to max the unit and throw in the UA too.

I would consider dropping the Rocketeers from list 4 and put in the Winterguard UA. I like rockets, but I like Grape Shot more.

Alright what do guys think of this one.

If I were running pSorscha, my list would probably be just that. I don't play Khador, but I've played against them plenty times.

I like it
25 points is very cramped, but WGI can kill infantry, jam lanes and even combine attacks to hurt heavys and they don´t rely on a lot of buffs (remember to give the bob & weave order & don´t forget a speech by Joe), Beast & Kodiak run without a lot of focus and care for enemy jacks.
The only thing I could think off to really make this list pop would be to take eSorscha, she would really love this list.

IMO, drop the Kodiak and take some more infantry. Kodiak is not doing a whole lot for the list that is not already being done. Beast and CRA from the winter guards are going to take care of hard targets better than Kodiak and the Kodiak will demand lots of focus once It reaches melee, either to boost at on initials to guarantee the chain attack or buying lots of extra attacks to make up for it's low power melee weapons. I think you might find a squad of doomreavers with their escort more valuable. They hit as hard as the Kodiak but have reach, magic attacks, higher MAT, much higher threat range, spell ward, and berserk. Plus the escort gives them tough and makes it so they don't have to make berserk attacks if you don't want to. On top of its own spells. Also - sorscha can buff their DEF with fog of war to help them against shooting which is their main weakness.

That's true, Doom Reavers could do some real good in your list. My only issue with them is the tendency to be an immediate bullet magnet.

I don't have the book on hand working right now the doom reavers and their solo how many points is that?

I don't like Man-o-Wars. They're slow and not heavily armored enough to shrug off the concentrated fire they're going to receive. On the other hand, pSorscha's fog makes their defense somewhat respectable...

Edit: Just a note that just because I don't like MoWs doesn't mean other people haven't had fun with them.

I understand just trying to work out this list building in warmachine.

Ok instead of man o wars I go with the doom reavers with Greylord escort instead. looks pretty cool actually.

MoW are not bad per se but you´ll be able to put DoomReavers into way more lists, so you get a lot more for your $.

Doomreavers are 6pts for 6. That's the only size they come in plus 2pts for the UA that grants them silence and toughness plus has a ice spray attack I believe. The UA has 5hp too so he's not as easy to kill as one might expect.

Doom reavers suffer from being untargettable by ALL spells and having average DEF and ARM. Its the same as iron fangs but without shield wall and you can't iron flesh them, bug that's why they work decently well with sorscha, she can lockdown enemy shooting for a turn with her feat and she gives them concealment with fog of war because it doesn't actually target anything. Makes the am reasonably difficult to hit.

Thanks for the info I plan on getting some and trying them out. They look like they will be a lot of fun I mean come on who doesn't like mad lunatics swinging giant cursed swords at you.

That's Khador for you. If its not giant swords, its axe wielding maniacs. If you like them enough you could try running an epic butcher tier list where they have no field allowance and cost 1 less point per squad. 3 doom reaver units, 3 escorts, a berserker warjack and Fenris makes for a fun 25pt list hah.
