Looking for ideas to finish up my list, I want to know what people have the most success with.

This squad must be able to infiltrate, but not be reliant on it.
Being shooty would be nice
Being durable and able to tank lots of fire would be great
Having good CC would be nice because ahrimans witchfires are mostly 12"-24" and he will need something to break him out of it.

Right now im thinking terminators but they're reliant on inf because they cannot DS with Ahriman. I guess they could just be the one squad that always infs?

Termies is the way to go man, if you roll 2 on the d3 infiltrate rule, you can do Terms and Ahriman attached.

And im pretty sure ahriman and his squad can both inf on a 1. Hes part of the unit when it gains inf, not after

The rule about IC joining a unit to infiltrate seems to say it can't happen. Something about an IC can only join a unit during deployment and if starting in reserve , and infiltrate is after deployment. So if both IC and Unit has infiltrate.. But tournies i play at run it differently.

As for your load out, i like a Chainfist in the Squad, on a guy thats not the champ. PF on champ is good also, if their is a DP on the board wait in cover for him.

Also have you considered taking a bastion? Place it 23 7/8 inches on the board so on the egde of your table half and 12 1/8" away from your opponents deployment zone. Have the door pointing towards your opponents half and infiltrate your termies into it. You are out of site and more than 12" away. Your opponent cannot infiltrate into it.. Come out turn one Rapid firing them combi plasma and unloading with Ahrimans short range magic barrage.

A bastion sounds really expensive....

75 points? To protect your termies on turn 1. And if you run hel drakes great for a coms relay on top. also a good place for cultist to hide and get some heavy bolter fire in. make your own pyramid and put all the bolters facing forward.

Wow you really got me excited with that pyramid idea. ill consider it but as im sure you know 75 points is hard to come by in a tsons list.

If yuo want a really cheap troop that really funny to play might i suggest what i have always wanted to do. Give cultists MoT and put them on a skyshield pad for a 3+ invo.
