Hi, I'm writing a small tutorial on how you can create a starfield and print it.
In this tutorial I’ll try to explain how to create the graphics for a space-themed battle-mat, which will be printed on several paper sheets. It will be necessary to glue them together into a bigger 3’ x 3’ (or 1 square meter) paper mat. Clearly, printing on a single sheet of paper would be better but such big printers are not usually found in everybody’s home. If you have access to a color printer at work (..ahem.. try not to get caught), this is going to be really cheap.

If it might be of interest, I'll complete the tutorial and post a link to the PDF file.

If I can find a big image of a Star Destroyer, where would you like it on the image ? Top, bottom, left, right, center
How big has it be ? 1/4 of the image, 1/2 of the image ?
And lastly, what would you like it to look like ? seen from above, facing you, or else...
