so at my local GW they are holding a bit of a fun apocalypse game 20 players on an 8 ft by 4 ft board 5 players can bring all the nids they have and the other 15 can use anything othe than nids. except they are only allow 3 things 1 HQ 1 troop choice and 1 of anything else the only restrictions are that the 3 units you bring cannot be from more than one army list e.g an imperial fist army cannot bring a darkshroud and BA cant use marneus calgar Tau cant take a wraithlord and so on. Nids win by eating everything on the board and everyone else wins if they have 1 unit standing at the end of turn 5. This seems pretty straight forward, except the when a tyranid gets kiled it goes to the back of the board.

Already there is at least 3 heirodules 6 carnifexes and a trygon aswell as a mass of various gaunts, genestealers, gargoyles and warriors. needless to say it is going to get messy.

My local is having 102 terminators lining up against and nids anyone brings down - nids keep coming back after death like an endless swarm and the aim is to see how long the Termies hold out.

I might pop down with my 2 tyrants, exocrine, tyrannofex and genestealers

I can see that making an excellent impression on the termies, I assume the 102 vs Nids is a Macragge type thing?
