Someday I want to take my beloved Blood Angels to Tournament. I'm trying to build up an army that, although it may not win, won't get steam rolled either. Maybe in the new codex we'll actually have a chance at winning some. I doubt it. But I'm not here to speculate. I'm acquiring some more models and I built a list out of what I should have soon, and hopefully this one can stand up in a semi-competitive to competitive environment.

HQ:
Librarian in Terminator Armor with Force Axe, SB, Unleash Rage and another psychic power. Probably Sanguine Sword or Might. Could roll one on Biomancy for Iron Arm or Warp Speed and take Prescience.

Captain, Terminator armor, dual lightning claws

Elites:
Sanguinary Priest, terminator armor

Tactical Terminators, Land Raider Crusader

Troops:
5 assault marines, Razorback, Las/Plas

5 assault marines, jump pack, melta gun

5 assault marines, jump pack, melta gun

Fast attack:
Baal Predator, TLAC, Heavy Bolters

Baal Predator, Flamestorm cannon

Heavy Support:
Storm Raven, TLMM, TLLC

Storm Raven, TLMM, TLAC

All the terminators go in the crusader and start on my forward line, roll up shooting and smash some monstrous creatures/other elite CC unit. One Assault squad goes in each Storm Raven for late game objective grabbing via Skies of Blood or possibly side/rear armor melta shots. Shooty Baal starts on the table, behind the Land Raider then scouts into good firing position. The other Baal outflanks and roasts something. I expect that Baal to die pretty quick. If it doesn't, awesome. Las/Plas Razor will probably get reserved in most games, then stay back and shoots with the Lascannon but can jet up and push an enemy unit off an objective and take it for the Sons of Sanguinius.

C&C appreciated and needed.

I would say two flamestorm cannons, not 1&1. Also, 5 man assault squads are as tough as 5-man tactical, which of course means easy kills to your 2 of 3 scoring units. Put them in Razorbacks with Las/Plas like your first squad. Why dont you say no to Libby and get Curbulo?

Like I said, the two "fragile" squads are going in Storm Ravens. Like Vet squads in Vendettas. Which is much more durable than a Razorback.

I dunno. Why do you think the Flamestorms are better? Wouldn't the TLAC and Heavy Bolters be better for more grounding checks against FMCs and helping with shooting down fliers? I don't know if interceptor works against outflankers but the one Baal should be able to do it's job before it gets all shot up. Do you think redundancy is worth losing out on the assault cannon?

Lol, a Librarian is a much better force multiplier than the Captain and still a pretty good beatstick, so I would definitely keep the Libby. I don't really want to drop the Captain. Against any enemy characters that don't have a 2+ armor save, the Cap has enough attacks, high enough WS and rerolls wounds to get enough wounds through. And helps the unit chew through chaff units. Corbulo might be better than the regular Sang priest and I'd love to have that 4+ FnP but I can't find the 20 pts for the upgrade and trading a power sword for a rending chainsword and 2+/5++ with FNP for a 3+ and 2+ FNP doesn't sound all that appealing.
