So for the last few years i have been painting local army's for a bit of cash and now i want to see if i can step that up to the internet. my dream being to make this an actual job. the thing is i have no idea where to start. honestly i have almost no idea of what im doing besides the painting it self.

I suck at making web sites, i have no idea on how to price my paint jobs so i actually make a profit, i have no knowledge of legal things (like if im allowed to post images of gw models after i painted them), and pity much every thing that you would need to start a painting business.

im no golden daemon winner but the work i have done for people at my local store has acquired some good pares, i have even won a few competitions. so i was thinking that i could provide a service were i painted larger armies well instead of just doing the amazing paint jobs that you see every were.

any help at all would be great, i just need some were to start. hell ill even take commissions hear and now lol. or if anyone knows of a business that does commissions that might be hiring that would be amazing as well.

i just got a new camera so i will be taking more/better photos and throwing them up hear

From what I've learnt (and read alot on here) commission painting is not for the feint of heart and isnt overly profitable. You also need to be able to produce not only high quality miniatures but at a speed that you can keep to reasonable deadlines. If you're wanting to get into it then it should be for the love of painting and not the desire to make that much money (pay per hour is waaaaay below minimum wage as a standard).

That said Tyranidpainter put up a thread a while ago very similar to this and recieved some fantastic advice and critisisms that have massively improved his work. Link is here abouts:

First step would be to showcase a good variety of your work and various painting levels
