What does the prime do for your army that warrants his obnoxiously high point cost? You can get ~40 termagants instead, which would be a much better choice in this low of a points level.

Pretty much this. You'll want to fill as many bodies as possible. Most lists (read: all lists) can't deal with those sorts of numbers in so small a bracket. Plus, scoring like crazy.

Current Proposed Rules Project: Orkish AC-130 Spekta Gunship!

WAAAGH Sparky!
1400 (ish) - On the rebound!
Kommander Sparks DKoK
1000 (ish) - Now on the backburner

- Men, you're lucky men. Soon, you'll all be fighting for your planet. Many of you will be dying for your planet. A few of you will be put through a fine mesh screen for your planet. They will be the luckiest of all.

please read my answers...
you CAN'T qualify a Tervigon as your General with the latest codex so you need another hq to do that!

I have a load of scatter lasers that beg to differ...

I like the list though a winged tyrant could distract the enemy a bit more at those points.

Personally i think your wasting your points on the tevigon in a 500 point list. And yes Its not a Character so no warlord, but a unit of warriors would complement your prime much more for less points and give you the ability to pick up another gaunt unit. Just my 2 cents.

you are right but i've based on what i've got so far

another list would be a
flyrant with 2x brainleech and old adversary
2 squads of 15x terma
1 zoa
1 veno
1 biovore

but i'm missing venomothrope and biovore! ;_;

so basically you are saying
1 prime
1 warrior squad
3 gaunt units (or 2 slightly bigger)
1 zoa?

in this kind of setup i'd like to throw in a veno IMHO wich i miss ATM!^^

Yes, if you have the points by all means throw a venom in there.

List you should bring...
145 Prime w/ Lashwhip and bonesword
195 Tervigon
160 (30) Termaguants w/ 10 Devourers

Join the Prime to the guant squad and have them have at the enemy, while the Tervigon stays well away from them and generates guants to hold down objectives...

this is indeed a possibility i'd like to throw a zoa due to the facts i'm a newbie and i'd like to learn different things of the game so a psyker is a nice addition
