My friend usually takes something along these lines

might swap in 3 centurions with grav cannons n amps too (quite likely)

Im Thinking of List A

mechanized templars

-Chapter master (artificer armour, eternal shield, burning blade)
-10 initiates, 10 neophytes (2 pf, 1 flamer)
-Tech marine + 3 servitors
-Spartan assault tank (forgeworld uber land raider)

-10 initiates, 2 neophytes (2pf, 1 flamer)
- techmarine + 3 servitors
-land raider crusader

tech marines give 2+ repair on the tanks

5 hammernators

1750 pts

bum rush across the board in the land raiders, spartan lascannoning the vindis/kheres, try to tie up the cents with the hammernators teleporting them in.

Black tide (ish)

Chapter master (artificer armour, power sword, storm shield)

emperors champion

4x 10 initiates, 5 neophytes (2pf, 1 flamer/melta)

He wont be expecting this one, try to swamp him with infantry, one squad of hammernators on the cents, one on the vindis, after orbital bombarding them.

You can't have the techmarine ride in the vehicles with the servitors AND the other squads (can only have one unit). You can do it with the techmarine without the servitors though. So I'd lose the servitors and try to get the servo-harness instead.

If he's running the Grav Cents, don't DS your termies as they will get absolutely shredded by the Centurions. Either stick them in the LRs or run them behind and out of line of sight.

While I understand the idea of the black tide, with 2 vindis and a TFC he's gonna be doing some serious damage before you get in assault range. I'd stick with the mechanized list, sadly if he has 1st turn he will most likely pop at least 1 of the LRs with the sterns and then pound away with the long range guns. Some chaplains might actually benefit you so that your troops don't break or get pinned.

I don't know whether to swap some stuff out as I have a contemptor mortis, some honour guard, sternies with a drop pod. He's very much a hide in ruins at the back of the board type guy so getting to him is gonna be hard
