My go to for decades has been Testors Dull Cote. Readily available and 100% reliable results. Alternatively, any clear lacquer from your local hardware store. Avoid Purity Seal like the plague.
Cheap and it works. Just use ventilation / respirator when spraying. This is the same thing a lot of pro-model builders use. It's called Kleer outside the USA and Future in the USA this is the same stuff. Do some research on it so you know more about it. It's a gloss finish. You would have to find some matte to spray after if needed.
