The officially licensed 7th edition Call of Cthulhu RPG miniature line. Classic modules brought to life in 32mm miniature form.

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/941525798/rafm-call-of-cthulhu-7th-edition-miniatures

New, exciting, and in a direction the fans crave, RAFM Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition Miniatures will be providing our backers and fans with high quality miniatures from the classic RPG modules. Our initial launch is for the module Masks of Nyarlathotep, but we are not stopping there! We will continue into Fungi from Yuggoth, which was reprinted with the title The Day of the Beast. Finally, we will add miniatures from the supplement House of R'lyeh, a more recent release and have plans to delve into the depths of the Cthulhu Mythos further with future modules. These could include Shadows of Yog-Shothoth and Ramsey Campbell's Goatswood and Less Pleasant Places. We just need your support to make this campaign a success!

EDIT: They've run and supplied a successful indiegogo campaign and you can pick up these minis as a $50 (Canadian) add on and should give a good idea of what their sculptor(s) can do

The monsters/denizens look like the old sculpts from the early 90's. If memory serves, those are more 25mm. While it matters less for monsters, I think people might be a bit upset when the humans/ghouls of the $110 pledge level are of a fairly different scale.

I'm waiting for them to ship a number of Cthonians that I ordered recently... will update when I have them, hopefully soon (got an email from them saying they were ready today).

RAFM also included their 7th edition 28mm miniatures from their IGG campaign. RAFM is also holding a 25% off sale of *all* their miniatures in their catalog.

Today (January 23rd) they have an Insanity Deal, which is $50 of stuff for $25. Pretty good way to get your obligatory Cthulhu in metal from RAFM.

Expansion #3 looks to be the best deal. One large monster and three NPCs suitable as generic investigators for $10 CAD.

Also, if you use a Google refresh extension, you might still catch a $100 EB pledge!

After they hit their next stretch goal, we'll have 25% more miniatures for module collectors!

38 miniatures for ($112 USD = $110 CAD + $15 CAD shipping ) = $3 per mini

How do you see this sale? I just ordered from them recently but didn't notice anything about it (unless the price was just already reduced but not well marked).

I've jumped in on this, looks like fun. I passed on their previous Indiegogo campaign, but after seeing the minis produced there I was swayed.

If they can reach 200 backers by end of today there's a small bonus for all backers in the form of a summoning stone and circles (see update #7). So, if you're thinking about it, stop thinking and act!

It's on the home page in the left column: http://www.rafm.com/

Definitely contact them and ask for the discount! Good luck!

From the comments, it looks like you can *still* have the Insanity Add-On ($50 CAD of miniatures from their existing catalog for $25 CAD) with a Module pledge: "We have changed the Insanity Add On Pledge to take the date away. If you have new friends that want to get involved you want to tell them to Pledge the Insanity Add On and then pledge enough to include the Module Collector and then they can have both. "

They're also adding three gate miniatures to *all* pledge levels (since they passed 200 pledges), but haven't updated this info on the main page. I'm hoping we can get another set of three for cheap to have six closed gate tokens for Arkham Horror!!!

After seeing the sculpts from Cthulhu Wars... these are a little underwhelming.

I hope they do more character figures, as a GM and sometimes player I'd love more of those for choices. Love the flapper chick.

Also, check out my history blog: Minimum Wage Historian, a fun place to check out history that often falls between the couch cushions.

I also backed Cthulhu Wars, but see the RAFM KS miniatures as complimentary. RAFM is offering *many* miniatures Cthulhu Wars didn't: humans, hunting horror, Masks, yithian, cthonian, gate stones, etc. And, of course, the RAFM miniatures are in metal. (Overrated for my tabletop painting skill, but whatever!)

Also, the Insanity Add-On lets you pick miniatures at 50% off, including their non-Cthulhu lines.

Update 9: Free Gate mini's if we hit 250 and 300 backers by 1/29 and 1/31! I've asked for confirmation that you can get these goodies at the $10 CAD pledge level!

EDIT: Yes, you will! Only lucky 13 more backers to hit 250!

With the three already free to all pledges, that makes eight gates to replace your Elder Sign markers for Arkham Horror and use with your gate markers for Eldritch Horror! Blingathulhu!

@Orlando: Could you update the thread title? Thanks!

31K stretch goal has been unlocked early -- two more miniatures added to the Module. 45 minis for $115 CAD + $15 CAD shipping = $2.60 per mini!

A pet peeve of mine with KS campaigns is art like the below... how in the world would you make a miniature that looks anything like this mist creature?

Made in us
Fixture of Dakka

That would be a pile of slag on a base with a face. Melt down a Warmachine jack, poke a face in it, and there you go. Car battery lead would be a great stand in, if you don't want to slag the Jack.

Good looking figures, great sculpter.

Officer and a gent as far as the project went.

I'm pretty leery about concept art -- or even renders. (See dakka comments on Torn Armor renders and HQ renders.) I see it as part of the risk of a KS -- how close to the concept art will the miniature *really* be like? You could always ask the creator who the actual sculptor is, then search (Lead Adventurers seems to be a good place for RAFM scullpts) for the sculptor's similar works.

Torn Armor has shown us that, just because you have concept art or a render, doesn't mean anyone's going to even make the sculpt! Part of the reason I pledged for this KS was that the earlier RAFM IndieGoGo Cthulhu Miniatures project went smoothly (definitely check out its updates at least as part your backind due diligence), RAFM has 37 years of experience, and I was satisfied with its 7th Edition investigators. (I actually didn't pledge for them in their IGG project and went after their *existing* sculpts in their catalog instead through the "Insanity Add-On" pledge levels.) I didn't pledge for the GOBLIN miniatures or the HQ25 game because I was not confident in the companies *and* because they only showed renders.

You *can* always wait for the miniature to be available retail. RAFM had a 25% off sale recently, and they'll have it again. Heck, if they run another "Insanity Add-On" in a future KS, you'll get these miniatures at 1/2 retail (plus shipping)! I'll do that as well as pledge this KS, since I missed out on the Chaosium Horror Express KS, they're not available with this KS, and the RAFM sculpts of the figures look great!

Anyway, the miniatures come out to $2.60 apiece. So even if some miniatures don't work out, this is still a good price overall.

Solid company with quality work, even after all this time.

In for some monsters as well. And for the moduals- the need that crazy one, Arkham Now.

Really love the figures, and have a soft spot for them for other games as well. Excellent quality, and the Jeffery Combs investigator and his entourage of Elvis slayers are awsome!

Aaaand, finished. I'm a little disappointed they didn't get to 300 backers (since I won't get more free stuff), and a little astonished at how much everone who did back must have spent to get the total up so high. I didn't think there was that much demand for 32mm 1920's adventurers. My list of rewards:
Monster
Expansion #4
Great Old One
Paranoia Add-on x1 (for more Deep Ones).
