So I have finished my first tyranid warrior and would like some feedback on it. First time with these guys are they are a welcome change to the armor of my marines and tau. So without further delay here he is



Don't have a good shot from the front yet as my only camera is my phone and not that great.

He's looking a little blotchy and the carapace is a bit dull...maybe add a few colors to the carapace in grades to give it depth. I use four, some people use more/less.

Also, for the yellow details, try painting them yellow then adding a black wash, then drybrushing a brighter yellow over that to give better detail.

Yeah I am still unsure how I want to do the skin so that definintely needs a lot of work. As to the carapace I did a base and then four layers before doing the light drybrush with the final layer.The claws were down with 2 layers a brown wash and then again with the second layer of yellow.

So you think I should go for brighter colors on the carapace?
Would a black wash give better contrast against the yellow claws?
The skin...yeah still working out how I want that to go
