Hunting Glade Guard

Hi, I am an old Warhammer Fantasy player that just picked up some dark eldar to start playing what looks to be an awesome game (40k). I bought a battleforce along with my codex and rulebook and got an Haemonculus for HQ.
Now, I want to quickly get to 1000 points and was wondering what were my best bets. Should I get Wracks, since they will be troops and should I get more Haemonculus, as they can be 3? I like the reavers model would I need more to make them efficient (or is it impossible)?
Are there any unit I should definetely not get?
Thanks for letting me know your opinion!

Venom or raider spam, thats pretty much the only viable build.
Can throw in some incubi inside as well. Discard the rrest(as far as I know). And you probably would be better off with an Archon, but idk.

You picked a really rough army to start out with.
Really. Rough. Army.
If you want to be competitive then Venom or Raider spam.
If you want to have fun then the only thing to really avoid would be Mandrakes. You can make them work, but doing so takes a great deal of unnecessary effort.
Otherwise An old time favorite of mine is Talos Pain engines. I have "literally" never fielded one where it didn't make it's points back.
And the average is about 1.5 - 2 times it's points. Seriously, I love them to death. The parasite is a bit of a weirdo, but it's entertaining if nothing else.
Anyway good luck.

I'm a veteran daemon player getting into dark eldar. I plan on doing kabalites in raiders and trueborn in venoms with vect leading the army.

Warriors in Raiders, Trueborn in Venoms. A squad of witches with haywire grenades in a Raider has great utility too.

Honestly, DE aren't that rough... They're in a very good place in 6th and are competitive. They're just fragile, and movement is very important... I think people hype up their fragility too much though, it's a fine army to start with.
