I recently played a game of Tomorrow's War. Here is a link to the Batrep:

and some teaser pics:

Awesome as usual. I think I get more jealous of your terrain everytime you post.

Question though, in the first teaser picture above, what range is the middle figure from? I have one just like that except his gun has a round ammo drum on the top, but I cannot for the life of me remember where I got it.

Thanks!

I believe that is a plastic warzone figure with a head from pig iron.

Good stuff.

I recommend more people try the rules. The Action/Reaction rules are very creative and allow a flowing game. Like you said, it can take a few tries to wrap your head around them.

I agree. we felt fairly comfortable with the rules for this round. I think that it is important to note, as a scenario based game, that it's not always evenly balanced.

In this game, for example, the attackers, were certainly more powerful than the defenders. In addition, they got a bonus for being a higher tech level. We tried to balance it by giving the defenders better armor, but it didn't work so well. We gave the drones weapons that were way too powerful. With that said, it was still fun for both sides. I guess it's true in war, too. Some sides just have the advantage.

In addition to the reaction rules, I enjoy the initiative system. Having (or losing) initiative can really sway the tide of battle in this game. It adds a nice dynamic.

Yep, he's a "Fantasian Stormtrooper" from Legions of Steel. There's also Drop Troopers which are similar with heavier armor and a bit bigger and Ghon Politz which are really big (almost Ogryn size), but in the same style armor and greatcoats.

I got rid of all my Legions of Steel stuff, but I kept my Ghon Politz which I play to make a Ogryn Squad with some day.

All of them are fairly rare figures.
