I love the color, the LEDs, the base, the mace, it all looks amazing. However, I don't like the little happy face and bullseye on the missiles. I think that it takes away from an awesome model. Also, I think the feather could use a touch up. It looks very flat right now.

Can you post some pics of how you wire the batteries?

I really love the flail arm.

Yeah, I noticed a bunch of little stuff like the feather and some touch-ups I needed to do on the HYMP-rifle once I had these supersized pics to look at. So I'll go back and fiddle with them some more later. The smiley faces are part of the theme in my Dubstep Tau army. Loads of ridiculous-looking accoutrements and details make it into the army, and the whole thing takes on a kind of party vibe.


As to the question about the LEDs, I already said that this was done using magic, foul sorcery and miraculous magnets. For details on how that vile witchcraft is done, there are links in my sig.

The lighting in my room is terrible. I'm deployed out in the arabian desert so I can't do much about it. The colors are always a little off whenever I take pics.

Don't try to do it all at once, and don't try to get them perfect the first time. My models all look hideous up until I've done the "clean up" step and gotten all the lines straight and thin.

@scrub: I'm vaguely intrigued by the idea of dong a wraithknight, but I have a lot on my plate for now. Kinda hoping for an Imperial Knight in March with the IG release.

I love the look of the line edgeing, great job. So super cool.

Thanks. I've actually gone back and touched the model up in a few places after posting it here. The camera always shows me a million little things that annoy the hell out of me, lol.
