I think I would take out the two Paladins - they're not great on their own, and really need Vilmon to shine, in my opinion. The 4 points can be better spent on other options - for instance, you could get Rhupert and make those bastions Tough as well or Gorman, who can create a cloud to help protect Harby (a 3" cloud and the Reckoner next to eachother can fully block off sight to Harby) and can help neuter things like colossals.

Now, the other thing is what is your plans for Visgoth Roven and co? They're a good unit, most definitely, but their main purpose is to give out Menoths Sight, to get around stealth, generally when trying to assassinate a caster. If you're going more for attrition in this list, it might be better to take them out, along with the points for the two paladins, and put in a unit of some kind? Perhaps Zealots with U/A? Just a thought, anyway.

The only other issue I see in this list is speed, as you're making your way across the field at 8" a turn (well, 9" if you charge under Crusaders Call each round), assuming you want the bastions up front. A faster unit would definitely help you get up the field and hold position, though it depends on your play style/tactics really.

Anyway, just a few thoughts on the list, hope they helped

So I started out with vilmon. I love the paladins, but didn't want to field a themed harbinger list. I'm just getting into menoth, so it's a wip. Here is a bit of my thinking and maybe that will help with a little more direction?

I took the paladin in order to be objective campers/hard hitting solos. Obviously without vilmon they aren't great, but they have boxes. And the idea with this army is attrition. Between sanguine oath, the bastion seneschal, harbinger and the hierophant, unless some one out and out kills my dudes, they will make it up the board, despite being slow.

If I get first turn, I move everything as fast as I can, then pop feat. If I get second turn, same deal. Basically it gives me a free round to advance. In either scenario.

I really like exemplar units, and wouldn't mind building a second list with Kr3os or intercession kreoss. But other than flame guard or zealots I'm not sure what else to really change.
