So this is my first attempt at a daemons list using some models I will be picking up from a buddy soon. I have everything to run either a straight screamer star or a flying circus, but neither of those builds are enticing to me.

I wanted to build a slightly more balanced list with more variety that's still good n' killy like daemons should be.

So here goes, If you would let me know what you think of it first and what changes I might make with the existing models (wargear, rewards etc.), but I am also open to fielding other units

HQ
Fatey: 300

Herald of Tzeentch: 150
ML3, Disk, Exalted Reward (Grimoire)

Herald of Tzeentch: 145
ML3, Disk, Locus of Conjuration

Herald of Khorne: 130
Locus of Fury, Lesser Reward, Juggernaut

Troops
19x Daemonettes: 171

11x Pink Horrors: 99

11x Pink Horrors; 99

Fast Attack

7x Screamers: 175

14x Flesh Hounds: 224

Heavy Support
Deamon Prince: 355
DoT, ML3, Wings, 3+, Greater Reward, Exalted Reward (Portalglyph)

1848

What's the plan for the daemonettes? They're just too fragile and have no support. Wouldn't another unit of horrors and a couple more screamers be better?

Other than that it looks good

Daemonettes pose another fast assault threat along with the hounds. Their support is the MTO built into the rest of the list. Do you wanna shoot the daemonettes sprinting upfield? Or do you need to address the hounds? Then theres also the mini screamerstar and 2 FMCs to deal with.

Also blobs of Daemonettes can make short work of unwary MC's such as riptides and wraithknights

Hey Astro_nomicon

Very nice list with diverse threatrange! I recon it'll do very well.

I played a similar list for a while (with some CSM mixed in). It performed very well, only having consistant trouble against a very concentrated Tau list in my gaming group.

Mine looked like this (for inspiration if anything):

300 Fateweaver
150 Herald of Tzeentch, Disc of Tzeentch, Exalted Reward (Portalglyph), ML3
140 Herald of Khorne, Juggernaut, Exalted Reward (Grimnoire), Lesser Reward (Axe of Khorne)
135 CSM Sorcerer, ML3, Bike, Forceaxe, Meltabombs
162 18 Daemonettes of Slaanesh
90 10 Pink Horrors of Tzeentch
50 10 CSM Cultists
176 11 Fleshhounds of Khorne
175 7 Screamers of Tzeentch
180 5 CSM Chaos Spawn, Mark of Nurgle
125 CSM Maulerfiend
165 Soul Grinder, Mark of Tzeentch, Warp Gaze

1848

Good luck with the list, please write up a battlereport one of these days.

Thanks for the encouragement! I don't actually have the army yet but I should be picking it up soon. Once i get it playable I'll try and write one up against my friends Taudar.

On a side note, what tables should I roll on with my DP? Biomancy? Telepathy? Change?
