I dont know if this has been discussed here or not. If you have paint that had the pigments settle you can give it a rough shakeup and put it in an ultrasonic cleaner to agitate it real good works well.
For some bands and paints this will not help as certain color pigmens (yellow) tend to stick and "glue" together.

Ultrasonic cleaners are great use some Simple Green and run 2-3 cycles but, you are going to need to scrub them with a toothbrush. It's not a miracle paint remover. You still have to do the work. It's just helps a lot.
