Hey guys!
I'm relatively new to Dark Eldar having started an army around Christmas time, and would like to ask for your help as to how to build a 850pt list that peforms well
I have played a few games with my army as it is and it performed pretty well,
The list I have used is the battleforce with an added Archon who rides in a Raider with a squad of 9 Wyches, He carries a Webway portal so that he can bring in a squad of 5 incubi (Incubus with Demi-Klaves and BloodStone) and it worked well when I got dug into combat.
I have sinced added a Razorwing Jet Fighter to my collection and also a Haemonculus.
I know that my list needs to have a transport for each squad and that I may be better off ditching the webway portal and taking my Incubi in a Venom.

I was just wondering what would be a good list based around what I have and what else I could buy to make this list a bit better.
I'm usually only playing against one friend who plays as Blood Angels and Necrons. I performed well against the marines but the Necrons were a bit tougher.
I have so far not won with the list though and I know its due to what I have at the moment.
So If any of you Dark Eldar magicians could give me some suggestions, I would really appreciate it!

Cheers Guys!
HoeJarris

If you are deadset on using the webway portal I would run the Archon with the Incubi and run the wyches by themselves. This edition however, since you can't charge the turn you come in from reserves I would drop the webway portal altogether and just give each squad a transport.

When fighting necrons, my best advice would be to focus your fire on one squad at a time. They don't get reanimation protocol if the entire squad dies, so focus on killing one squad per turn with all your firepower and use your speed to try and stay out of range of the other necrons if possible. Also, they are weak in CC. Even if you just give your Archon a Venom Blade, between him and a squad of wyches or Incubi they should be able to sweeping advance a Necron squad pretty easily giving your high initiative and the low initiative of Necrons.

Thanks for the suggestion Jitactical!
Since I have one squad of wytches and one squad of Kabalites and the wytches go in the one raider I have, I was thinking of getting another raider for the Kabalites or splitting the squad of Kabalites up into two 5 man teams that each have a venom and then configuring the list so that it works at 850pts or a little more.
I'm not sure wether or not it's wise to do that?

It's really up to you. 10 warriors in a raider with splinter racks work well for anti-infantry, 5 warriors with a blaster in venoms work great as well. I would probably go with the two squads. That gives you another troop choice, and forces your opponent to split their fire. You really can't go wrong either way in my opinion.
