Aside from my Ultramarines Force I started building up my own Eldar Craftworld, Scathaigh (almost black grey armour with purple helmets, red cloth and eyes, green waystones). Their fluff so far is that the crashed their Craftworld (which is rather small) on some dark and chaos twisted planet, their seers then sacrificing themselves to create a ward to keep chaos out of the craftworld-wreck. Now, as far as I know, each craftworld has built in webway gates for travel. Are these webway gates each leading to a certain destination or all just generally into the webway? And is it possible that they lead you elsewhere because of them being damaged?
The plan was having the Scathaigh Eldar venture out into the unknown through them to scavenge things and attack the humans/orks/tau etc. on the planets they land on for reasons of proving their worth and arrogance.

I think each gate would lead you to a specific part of the webway, or else things would be impossible to find. Most of the webway is unknown though, so you could still have them explore new areas and find new worlds if that was your thing.

I do not now how the webmay looks inside. But I would think of the webway as a lot of tunnels lay out in a maze you probably could not draw on a 3dimensional map. The size of the coridor would vary. Perhaps some of the tunnels leeds to a portal that leads to another tunnel, not unlike how the different realms of Khomarough (the dark eldar city) make out the dark eldar city. It is actually many different smaler realms clustered together by portals.

I would think craft worlds would lead to spesefic places in the maze. In the Doom of mymeriana book the mymerians had not had contact with other craft worlds for a long time, until some eldar rangers stumbeled upon the portal while in the web way.

Also, possibly some web gates would need for you to travel a small segment on a plannet that has two different web way entrances. Also, not alle the gates and coridors are big enough for to big vehicles.

And you can also find spesific places in the webway, like Khomoraugh and the black libary. Probably other places as well.
