Here is my list. I was surprised at the amount of tanks, armor, and a few fliers there was at 500 pts. So I need the longs fangs but other then that the list can change quite a bit. Also can long fangs take the skyfire option?

Looks fairly solid to me, but I'm not that hot on lists Tbh.

Unfortunately long fangs can't take sky fire. We really do struggle with flyers
and without allies or forts there's not allot of options

Aye, no skyfire until the new book drops in a few months.

You could take an aegis line and quad gun or roll on divination and put the RP with the LF pack.

Yup, go with divination I am sure they have 2 psychic powers, 1 which negates cover for your opponents when shooting and I think the other gives the RP and his unit a 4+ invulnerable save.
Neither can be denied as you are casting them on your own units.
Chooser of the slain will give you +1 BS for your RP also gives you a 24" bubble around it to stop either infiltrators or deep striking, cant remember which.
This will give you a bit of safety from anything jumping out at your firebase too.
I'd consider dropping the terminator armour from the lone wolf as he already has the 3+ invulnerable from the storm shield, plus if he makes combat he can try to sweep the unit which he breaks, he cant as a terminator.
Not sure how many points that would give you, then make the predator an annihilator and give it dedicated lascannons for tank hunting.

It looks like you are making a firebase with the Longfangs and using the grey hunters to protect them or keep nearby objectives and using the Lone wolf and kitted up grey hunter unit to harass your opponents. and the predator to hunt armour.

The only other suggestion is drop the predator and go for an aegis line to get some cover and skyfire then a scout squad to go tank busting/ harass the enemies back line. It might keep some players from moving around too much as they keep a unit back to protect their rear...

It is a good list but you will struggle in some games due to lack of troop choices, I think

Ok thanks for the advice and really no skyfire? There was a space wolf player there and he said he had skyfire on his longfangs

You could always check the gw website, and see if there is an FAQ or an update giving them Flakk missiles or a change in the rules, but I highly doubt they have skyfire.
Or Space wolf players wouldnt be banging on about needing anti air firepower.

no he just had a RP, 5 GH w/ Rhino and 6 LF. and he said 2 of his LF had skyfire

Were they the missile launcher long fangs?

Yeah, that player was cheating, there is no option that gives Flakk to ML Fangs nor has it been added to them via current errata

Okay, here's my two cents.
Drop the Predator and the Lone Wolf. Use the points to buy another Rune Priest, and an Aegis Line with an Icarus Lascannon. That way, your missiles will *all* have twin linked (From Prescience,) and you've got a good skyfire weapon.
Drop the Wolf Standard and Mark of the Wulfen from squad A, buy a Drop Pod and two Plasma Guns (Or Melta Guns, or Flamers,) for squad B.

I will try that strategy this sat waag along with the wolf scouts one

Fortifications
Aegis defense line - Quad gun

Having 3 drop pods lets you drop 2 of them on turn 1. Meltas could be changed to plasma if you felt like it, just take the 10 pts item off the runepriest to cover it.
Use the 5 man squad with flamer to help clear enemies off objectives later in the game.

Aegis is there to provide a little cover and anti air.

As for the psychic powers, it depends on who you are against. Jaws is terribly OP against the right targets, however against other lists prescience will have more value.

Don't forget you can make a square for the agies to be protected on all sides.

And get your guy with the highest Ballistic Skill to man the quad gun to increase your chances of hitting!

Yep quad gun has both

Cool, so you get to shoot at a flyer the second it shows up, and not wait for your own turn...that's neat and nasty at the same time

And the fact you get a 4+ cover thrown into the deal is cool too, which turns into a 2+ cover if you GTG.
