So I have recently bought the new nid codex and was reading through it. I came across some creatures e.g. trygons that had both the fearless special rule and the instinctive behaviour. Because instinctive behaviour says that they need to take a leadership test but because they are fearless does instinctive behaviour effectively not apply? Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Fearless does not auto pass leadership tests. So they will still be subject to IB.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Some of the IB tables cause you to use the next highest result if the creature has fearless.

Fearless only ignores morale tests, a subset of leadership tests.
