Is it allowed to make Thunderer based on Chimera Chassis?
If it will be with additional armous plates, side skirts and probably a sand bags? Germans did 80mm armor on Pz-3 chassis designed for 15mm armor.
I don't see any advantades of LR tracks, since there is no sponsons. Yes, LR is heavier but it can be assumed Chimera chassis was modified to carry more weight.

I converted LRBTs from Chimera chassis and its an easy switch. I shortened the main hull to make it look like the troop bay had been removed and replaced with engines or ammo storage. To convert to a Thunderer, the main thing is removing the Chimera turret ring and replacing with appropriately detailed top plate, in the same way that the FW kit does for the Russ chassis. Otherwise its just taking off the hull heavy bolter/flamer mount and replacing with a big bit of tube.
