So I'm about to go do a model when I get the resources based off a band's album art, and was wondering if a Juggernaut of Khorne was too big for say, Dark Eldar Scourge bat wings? They are the exact thing I'd need for this project, and I can't check my local bitz bin until later in the week. Also if anyone knows a place where I can get a pair of bat wings in the general pose of the Scourge's wings and maybe if they are a bit meatier, please, suggest away. Thanks!
Oops forgot the cover art of inspiration, lol

I'd say the scourge wings would be a bit small for a juggernaut, something like the daemon prince wings would be closer to the size you want. Or maybe some of the smaller dragons. Gw do a set of dragon wings on they're website for £6.50

I was thinking Daemon Prince wings at first, but I would've thought they were too curvy for the look in the picture (same with the dragon wing bits). I also thought of the Scourge wings because of how bat-like the wings looked in the picture.

The dragon wings are not as curved as the DP wings, these are attached to a guy who is very similar to the GW DP in scale (that's still a 60mm base) I'd be slightly concerned they'd be too large on a Jug though.
Unless it has to be 100% GW bits, don't forget the likes of Reaper sell bits separately from most of their multi part kits, as do Mierce, and I'm sure others I can't think of.

I'd say the Scourge wings are definitely too small (which is a shame because they're pretty cool). Same would go for Nid Gargoyle wings (which are also cool).
One possibility is the wings from the Vampire Counts Vargheists box set. They're larger than the DE Scourge wings, but smaller than the Daemon Prince or Nid Hive Tyrant wings (which I think would be overkill on a Jugger).

Thanks for the picture, the actual webstore picture was confusing and conveying that it's pretty much the same. This project isn't necessarily for a commission or tourney, so any and all bit suggestions are welcome.
I've only heard of reaper off of ebay and TheWarStore, do they (and Mierce) have their own web pages by any chance?
And a side note, I am completely smitten with that sculpt so much. Is it another Reaper mini by any chance?

I never thought about the Vargheists mainly because I was concerned with the converting work going from a socket joint to a flat surface where the Scourge wings would be perfect for the shoulder slot.

It's from Mierce (Mierce Miniatures)
They do have a webstore, yes. They are currently in the process of producing a range of miniatures for their own game (Darklands, based on ancient British/European history, this guy is one of the monstrous infantry from the Albainn faction, loosely based in the Welsh)
Probably consistently turning out some of the best miniatures of anyone right now, I have several different minis for various DPs or GDs in my 40K Daemons, and subsequently bought I to their last Kickstarter to start playing the game.
Oh, and Reaper do most definitely have their own store too, which is really easy to search, a good thing given the volume of minis and bits they offer.

Oh cool, makes me wish I visited England long enough to snag some up lol.
But thanks for the suggestions for bitz products. I think I found a close match once I figured out how to navigate their webstore.

Well, without going massively off topic, the best advice I can offer is don't fall for the hype that GW is "the hobby"
There are many, many different companies out there, and many of those are producing amazing quality miniatures from supremely talented sculptors.
With no real allowance for subject matter, have a look at
Corvus Belli
Mierce
Creature Caster (new, just about to launch a range through Kickstarter)
Kromlech
Puppets War
Scibor
Ultra Forge
Anvil Industries
Dream Forge
Just to name a few!
