So, I do not actually play Marines (yet) and do not own the codex. However, I've been slowly acquiring Marine models just as a little painting project. I recently got a used Predator that was partly assembled and there were no instructions in the box. My question has to do with what weapons can I legally put on the thing. It already has the main turret weapon (obviously) and then has a lascannon on either side. What's still on the sprue is the Marine sticking out the top hatch with a bolter weapon of some sort. Would the predator be legal in game if it had a bolter on the top hatch or is that for some other variant like a rhino or razorback?
Thanks for the help.
The pintle mounted storm bolter? It's an upgrade, costs a few points and you get an extra storm bolter. It's legal, not a different variant, just an upgrade.
You have 2 turrets, either a twin-öinked Lascannon or AssCan, either bolter or laser sponsons, an stormbolter upgrade, dozerblade & hunter-killer missiles iirc.
Thanks guys that helps a lot. I have the Lascannons but not the heavy bolters for the sides so that's my only choice there. I think I'll go ahead and put the storm bolter upgrade on the top. It looks cool
