are you seriously paying 90pts for regenerations on your Carnifex unit? ask yourself if its really actually worth 90pts.
Leave it for the 6W
MC or
FMC for a single cost of 30pts, still expensive if you ask me, even at 20pts i would only consider it every now and then.
I can see your going for alot of regeneration but the issue with regeneration is that it does not work well with the general meta of the game. its already totally to your advantage to focus on something until it dies due the that fact that creatures losing wounds or hullpoints dont get weaker as they get hurt.
MC are something you focus on until they die, likely many
MC will have lost no wounds at all then will get completetly shot down in the same turn. sure not all the times but if you do survive after getting shot you only heal 1 wound per
MC on a 50% chance per turn. with a relatively heavy condition of actually having lost wounds and survived through a full turn. against people that dont know how regeneration works it could be worth it but I prefer not depending on my opponents ignorance to build a strategy upon especially if its an optionnal and expensive upgrade.
your also leaving the carnifex with the useless single pair of scything talons, even the
TL deathspitter is worth more but maybe consider the
TL Devourer either as single pair with Stranglethorn cannons or the ever powerfull dakkafex with double
TL Devourers!!!
let go of regeneration and you can do alot, start by taking out everything from the flyrants other then 2x
TL devourers BLW and wings. makes them a very worthwhile shooter/flyer for 230pts
maybe consider 2 dakkafex and an exocrine instead of 3 carnifexes
I would say if you go for lictors then at least have 3 or 4 on the table or none at all, more venomthropes would be more usefull instead
if your gonna flank some gaunts them you gotta go with teams of at least 25 Termagaunts with 15 devourers inside, devourer are amazing guns if you can get close enough for its range on the whole unit, and flanking can allow this.
for the amounts of gaunts you have I would also recommend more synaps, small warriors squad of 3 with barbed strangler are a worthwhile and relatively durable unit that helps to make sure your gaunts dont just start fleeing off the table for no reason or eating themselves.
