Ok. I've play tested the first list. And it worked. There's a bat rep up vs tau for it. But if you read the bat rep you'll realise that the guard did very little. What I want to know is, which of the 2 lists people favour? Let me know thoughts. I'm trying to stay at least semi themed.

List 1

HQ - Spiritseer with Wraithforge stone.
TP - 5 Wraithguard with D-Scythes in a Serpent with TL SL & Shuri cannon
TP - 5 Wraithguard with cannons in a Serpent armed as above
TP - 5 Wraithguard with cannons in a Serpent armed as above
HVY - Wraithknight
HVY - Wraithknight - Warlord

List 2

HQ - Spiritseer
TP - 5 Wraithguard with D-Scythes in a Serpent with TL SL & Shuri Cannon
TP - 5 Dire Avengers with Exarch with PW & Shimmer shield in Serpent Armed as above
TP - 5 Dire Avengers with exarch with PW & Shimmer shield in Serpent Armed as above
HVY - Wraithknight
HVY - Wraithknight - Warlord
HVY - Wraithlord with 2 Bright Lances.

I've come up with a list three that I'm swinging towards...

HQ - Spiritseer
TP - 5 Wraithguard with D-Scythes in a Serpent with TL SL, Shuri cannon & Holo's
TP - 5 Wraithguard with D-Scythes in a Serpent with TL SL, Shuri cannon & Holo's
HVY - Wraithknight
HVY - Wraithknight
HVY - Wraithknight - Warlord

I know this list makes me 'that guy' and I'm ok with it.

Thoughts?

I dont have the codecies in front of me, but personally I think that I would go with list 2 then drop the wriathlord and use the points to get a few 3 man windridrr squads and stuck them in reserves for the late game objectives grab.

Well in list two I would for sure drop dire avengers exarch for more goodies.

The shimmer shield exarchs are for two reasons 1 it gives them a little more survivability considering I've lost T6 3+ guys. And 2 cos I've already got them modelled from old lists!

List 3 is my favorite its 100% themed (except the 2 serpents which isn't a big deal) and has 3 Wks in it which makes me happy (but not as happy as that DE player).

I think list 2 has the most potential but requires the most work (you need that 4th Serpent). So either list 1 or 3 would be my choice as is.

I like list 3 best as it is great against the various Tau/Space Marine death stars out there at the moment.

luckily there arent many de players at the competitive tourney seen.

Agreed with above, as my local FLGS only has 1 DE player who shows up at all!

Mine has none

I like list one just because lots of wraithguard unloading in your face can be a real pain... from experience. Also, list three has only 2 scoring, even if you have three WKs.

The thing is, in 1500pts if you take all the time to shoot the WG in the WS to death the WKs have all ready tabled you.

Well, its all the same theme with minor modifications. I'm not a fan of Iyanden. Too boring. Therefore I'd opt for the list with the Avengers.
