Just for fun I made a Farsight Enclave list and use all of the 8, and Shadowsun. And since I'm doing that I have to have at least one 3 man crisis suit squad as a troop. Here is my list, please not that I am keeping all of the characters in and the only thing that I really want commented on is the non-HQs. Also, if you have any suggestion about tactics and deployment of the 8 please tell me. I have never used the 7 guys from the supplement before.

HQ
Farsight 1494 points
O'Vesa
Bravestorm
Brightsword
Sha'vastos
Arra'kon
Ob'lotai
Torchstar

Shadowsun w/ Command Link Drone 155 Points

TROOPS
3 man Crisis team with 2 Missile Pods each, 2 with Target Lock 166 points
3 man Crisis Team w/ 2 Plasma Rifles, 2 with Target Lock, 1 Gun Drone 178 points

1993 points, 30 models, slim chance in hell beating a decent list...

Plan on having the broadside guy and riptide guy deploy on their own and have Shadowsun join the other HQs. Gonna use Farsight's Warlord trait and deepstrike where I can best utilize the unit. The missile pod crisis suits will start on the board and the Plasma crisis suits will deepstrike. Any suggestions? Other than that using all 9 of my HQs is stupid

You can't have Shadowsun in a FE list without allies.

Why not? I couldn't find a rule in there that says I can't. Can you tell me where it is?

I didn't think she was in the FE codex to begin with....

She's not, but it's not a codex. The only units in the supplement are the 8 characters, no crisis suits, FWs, or any other unit. Just the 8 characters. Then you create the rest of the army from Codex: Tau. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to field a legal army.

Here is what the supplement says:

"A Farsight Enclaves army is chosen using the army list presented in Codex: Tau Empire. It also has a series of supplemental rules (presented below) that can be used in addition to the material found in Codex: Tau Empire. Note that you can only use the options from one codex supplement when choosing your army."

Read more of the supplement and learned I had to take a bonding knife with every unit. Also figured I didn't want to take more than the one Riptide and figured I'd try out stealth suits in 6th ed, so here it is:

HQ
Farsight 1494 points
O'Vesa
Bravestorm
Brightsword
Sha'vastos
Arra'kon
Ob'lotai
Torchstar

TROOPS
3 man Crisis Team w/ 2 Missile Pods, bonding knife 159 points
3 man Crisis Team w/ 2 Fusion Blasters, bonding knife 159 points

ELITE
6 man Stealth Team w/ bonding knife 186 Points
