It seems like a well balanced list overall.

Where does the Level 4 go? Right now it seems like he goes in a combat block, which is where he doesn't want to be. 10 Archers lurking behind the Halberdiers/Greatswords make a great bunker. Also, what lore are you planning on taking?

You have 3 combat blocks (Halberdiers, Knights, and Greatswords) but only 2 Warrior Priests. I'd cut out one of the units, probably the knights. Great Weapons look good on paper on those 2+ save guys, but the difference between 2+ and 1+ is quite significant (1+ save knights are still virtually invulnerable to Str 4.)

The army is Leadership 8 (9 if the general goes in the Greatswords,) which is very dodgy, even with a BSB. General is pretty cheap or maybe bump one of your Warrior Priests to an Arch Lector.

I generally don't find Pistoliers worth it - not enough damage for 100pts and too expensive to be chaff.

I also like 4 Demigryphs vs 3 for the extra grinding power. If you're not taking a magic banner drop the standard as most of their combat res comes from kills anyway, and should you break you're gonna lose a whole Demigryph model when they flee.

If you drop the knights, you'll only have 260pts in Core. if you add 10 Archers you'll be at 340. To make min core I'd suggest adding 5 naked knights (chaff clearer and redirector) and maybe bulk out the Halberdiers to 50.

P.S: I don't think you've spent too many points on characters, but to keep your Warrior Priests alive a little longer I'd equip them with Heavy Armour + shield/enchanted shield/charmed shield if points permit.

The wizard is taking shadow and if I put him in a block of 20 archers for a bunker

Drop the knights and the pistoleers

Drop the mounted priest in place for a arch lector

Add 30swords

Give heavy armour and a magic shield to each priest

And I've only got 3 Demi's...

But that should come out about right after dropping the knights/pistols, I've not got the book with me but I think that's about right. I could put war banner on the demigryphs that could help

Nice list, drop the banner from the demies, with the points left over take the dragon bane gem, and the luck stone maybe on your BSB or another character for the same points it could save his life, plus the luck stone is never a waste.

What? I already have talisman of endurance and you've suggested I put two MORE talismans on him? I'm abit rusty but I'm pretty sure it's 1per character right?

Also why would you say drop the banner? Is it really that wasted?

The banner is wasted because your risking a +1 combat res for the auto loss of 1/3 of the unit, so you make the call.

Also as for the talismans that was a typo on my part (sorry) i ment take in on your wizard/lector.

For another 1k points add some more demis like a big block of 3x3 a friend of mine played with one at 2500pts and they slaughtered what ever they charged, though caution because they don't kill much chaff so don't charge zombies or stuff like them.

Also having blocks of warriors that are 5 wide by 10 deep are great, like a halberd unit thats 5x10 with a knight unit of 5x3 and halberds have griffin banner so you will get tons of ranks and the knights will be able to pursue.

Also as many cannons as you have and mortars also, most important is, make sure you have as many warrior priests AND witch hunters as you have blocks of infantry it will more then double their damage and livability.

I do t want to buy any other models but I was thinking something around...

A griffon general (whit cloak of ulric and lance plate and shield)
Then another cannon
A priest for the knights

That looks good, For the griffon general, make sure to take blood roar for the griffon, and i'm guessing the load out is like,

cloak of ulric/full plate/shield/lance/talisman of preservation/ helmet of some sort worth 10pts. giving him a 1+/4+ and one heck of a beast in CC.
