I was reading the January 2014 White Dwarf and noticed that in the battle report the tyranids somehow had 6 HQs 5 Heavy Support and no troops..... I don't have the tyranids codex or the rulebook so i was wondering if this was because of the mission or a new rule in the tyranids codex. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could tell me why this was.

It was the WD crew having a little fun. Basically seeing how many MCs they could jam onto one table...

Yes they like to have so much fun in their battle reports that they piss on the FOC there all the time. It is what I hate the most about WD, yes we get it you can ignore FOC for a narrative battle now please give us some standard game with actual tactics and outcome maybe switch armies and play second time, write how did that go or sth.

From the initial Age of Sigmar news thread, when its "feature" list was first confirmed:

It's like a train wreck. But one made from two circus trains colliding.

A collosal, terrible, flaming, hysterical train wreck with burning clowns running around spraying it with seltzer bottles while ring masters cry out how everything is fine and we should all come in while the dancing elephants lurch around leaving trails of blood behind them.

How could I look away?

With the recent releases FoC legal games are getting closer and closer to the White Dwarf style.

Ignoring the force org chart and being over a hundred points over was the only chance Tyranids had at beating a poorly written Tau list... and they still lost.

I have a peanut allergy. It's really inconsiderate.

"Long ago in a distant land, I, M'kar, the shape-shifting Master of Chaos, unleashed an unspeakable evil! But a foolish Grey Knight warrior wielding a magic sword stepped forth to oppose me. Before the final blow was struck, I tore open a portal in space and flung him into the Warp, where my evil is law! Now the fool seeks to return to real-space, and undo the evil that is Chaos!"

You should see them talking about how good Nids are in the new WD...

I don't want to, why would I waste the money buying a White Dwarf only to throw up all over it?
