So I recently shortened my 2k list to 1500 because thats what the local meta plays, in that I found my 7 nob bikers all had kombi skortchas and cybork bodies which in the games I have been plying are un needed. My question is what should I add with the new found 75 pts. I upgraded one of 2 sets of 3 kannons to lobbas leaving me with 60 pts.

What should I put in for 60 pts? I have 2 things in mind; 9 more shoota boys +1 big shoota upgrade (making my 18 boy squad +2big shootas and 1 nob into a full 30 boy squad with 3 big shootas) or add another squad of 3 kannons.

Opinions, insight, ideas

Thanks

3 Kannons:
Pros: Good range, can glance down some AV14 vehicles, T7 when shot at, and options for single-shot or small blast templates.
Cons: Not fearless, not great LD even with Runtherd. VP fodder in some scenarios (Purge the Alien, Big Guns Never Tire?).

30 Shoota Boyz:
Pros: Fearless. A tough nut to crack. Versatile (can shoot, assault, take objectives, tarpit, etc).
Cons: Cannot deal with high AV units, probably resigned to footslogging.

More Shoota Boyz will probably help you more than a unit of Kannons in the long run. Try it both ways, see what you like!
