Is there any difference aside from the extra dark lances? I'm trying to figure out why I'd ever pay 50 dollars for a ravager instead of 37 for a raider... They look the same!

There is an extra sprue included with both lance turrets plus alternative sails and stuff. You need the turrets, the rest gives more diversity to the fleet.

Not really, it's just a gun on top. The DE kit is just two guns on the side, and differnt ascetic options.

You could always kitbash, Buying the extra bits on ebay tend to run almost the same as just buying the ravenger in the first place(if getting everything new)
