I've got a guy that is loving putting his Devastator Squads under a Void Shield Generator to give them immunity to S5 shots until the shields are gone. My question is, when I drop my Battle Cannon into the squad and score 4 hits, is that 4 rolls to kills shields or 1?

Depends on how you read the rule... Plenty of threads in the YMDC forum discussing this...

THe shield got max 3 fields, toss one by one to see ifyou take it down in the case all first three are gone result number four onto the devestator mrine

Seems the GW guys at the Memphis whatever-they-call-the-bunker-now were telling our TO's that GW had expected it to be read as a single hit on the void shield not multis. So I am expecting a FAQ on that at some point. Be interesting to see if they go original idea or community idea.

WhatGW store employees appears to be wrong rather often also when taking ruling questions to customeer support you might get two stories.
