Hi guys, I build a Pedro Kantor because I very literally cannot stand his actual model.

Anyway, here's my take on what he should look like. There's a little bit of thinking, and more photos to be found Here.

Very dynamic. I like it.

I am liking it.
Freehand and Transfers may need a bit of work. but otherwise it is really nice.

I am working on a counts as Kantor as well because the original model is not my favorite either.

Krak grenades should be panted red though..IMO!

The transfers are rushed because I get frustrated far too quickly to do them more carefully. Seriously, painting is a level of frustration, but transfers? they're the worst.

But, I'm not good enough at freehand to do the markings myself. Thanks for the tutorial though, maybe it can help me improve. I'm glad it's for a marine - I can see how the guy made sure the transfers went smooth over the curves.

Transfers are the worst... Patience and a steady hand are key.

Although I have come to accept that it is very unusual for me to have both at the same time.

After seeing your take on Pedro, i just had to kitbash myself one too. Still not painted, but finished the pose only a few minutes ago



I could not find the helmet with the leafs detail, but opted to use a sanguinary guard helmet instead. Also the base of the hand for the stormbolter is from sanguinary guard and the fist is from death company kit. The rest are pretty much from the sternguard kit, exept the flag, which is propably from devastator kit. Thanks for the inspiration!

Loving both of these! Kinda feel like i should be jumping on the band waggon, but allas i am out of spare torsos.

This is the kind of thread that makes me want to buy sternguard and make each one into a unique character model because they're so awesome!

Stargasm, this list has got pieces from the sternguard and command squad kits, both are really nice boxes for making sergeants or captains.

I for one really like the Vanilla Dark Angels captain

the cloak and sword just look awesome. It's a shame the unit is awful
