I'm back, I'm drunk and I finished up this battle report.

In an 1850 point, kill point game I pit my Sisters of Battle against the new Hive Fleet incursion.

Can I win? You'll see! *Dramatic music*

Be sure to set the video resolution to the unbelievable clarity of 480p

"Suffering is Faith, Faith is Strength.

Generations have suffered with the same devotion that we can offer but once. Still, our Faith leads us through these dark times like a beacon. It will guide us to triumph over these abominations. Either by breaking them upon us like waves against a limitless, golden peak or by thrusting through them like the spear of the Immortal Emperor Himself." - Cannoness Aoife, Order of the desert rose #Yesallwomen

Interupting the report every turn with "Micky's wet bowl syndrom" was quite anoying. Try doing a recap at the end.

Bowl syndrom?

Alright, one opinion.

After having watched the entire video I shall offer some constructive criticism. I find it difficult to follow along with what's happening and where at times, I feel that by cutting back and forth to the video blogging really adds to that, perhaps just take the audio and dub it over as narration? The music can also be disruptive at times. A few wider shots before zooming help a lot with keeping track of where everything is turn by turn. As for the music I think it adds to it but maybe drop the levels a little bit. Overall I enjoyed it so hopefully my criticism isn't taken the wrong way, keep'm comin.

Do you play 30k? It'd be a lot cooler if you did.

:( A very poor showing for the sisters.

Also, check out my history blog: Minimum Wage Historian, a fun place to check out history that often falls between the couch cushions.

Thanks, yeah, I even tried to remember how important the wide shots were and then totally didn't do that for this video. :-( I'm a bit out of practice and on a time crunch. I'll take more time with the next one. I think I'm gonna keep the post turn reviews but I'll confine them to the end of the game turn rather than player turn for a better flow. I'll also try not to ramble as much. The intro narration will be shorter too, I'd been away for a while and wanted to get my thoughts in on the Adepta Sororitas codex in but that's probably better saved for separate video. I'll try to cut it down to about 10 mins which it should be without the longer intro.

Was the music too loud? Or was the backing track the wrong kind of noise for the video?

Thanks for the input, this is what I'm looking for

Yeah, bad game for me. I couldn't seem to hit the broad side of a Tervigon with my shooting. I'll try to do them justice next time.
