This is my 6th Riptide and I gave each one a different pose. Tried something completely new this time. Not that good at modeling but I like how it came out.

Pretty original pose . Is it a back flip or a front flip?
If it is a back flip then legs should be a little more stretched and if it is a front flip then legs should be more curled in.
I like your idea and I would like to see the rest of the riptides

Got milk?

All I can say about painting is that VMC tastes much better than VMA... especially black...

PM me if you are interested in Commission work.

Here are the only other ones that look somewhat unique:

Very cool! I love goofy poses especially when pulled off well.

I think if I was going to Riptides, I'd model them like the Gundams from Zero Wing, personally. Would be the only way to make a multiple riptide army not a total "I DON'T LIKE HAVING FRIENDS" thing, haha.

Not for awhile. And my models look better before I put paint on them.

Do a barrel roll?
I just tried googling that! WOW!

I am liking the original poses here. Good work!

Fluffwise I just cannot see a Riptide doing any sort of flip. That said it's still awesome! I love it! Good work.

Really? you cant see something with a giant jetpack in possibly low gravity environments using an evasive manoeuvre like a flip to dodge an incoming missile? I don't know man I can see it being a circumstance.

You really went all out in making your riptides unique OP, great job.

I think that giant alien jet-packed robots would be the far-fetched part. Why is it doing a cartwheel so hard to imagine?

Without paint, the atrocious mounting solution makes the whole thing look terrible.

I know you said your painting would only make it look worse, but I can only see the quality going up from here.

I plan on painting them eventually. But I tend to build all of my models to complete the army so I can play with them. Then I paint them in stages. Unfortunately, I have to finish building my eldar army and then paint it before I get to my Tau. But I'm planning on airbrushing my Eldar army and if it works out as well as I hope than it won't take too long to get to the tau.
