40k Tourney in Manchester Ct. At time Machine Hobbies. Hosted by Todd Silber and Alex Fennel
"The Portal", is their new gaming area across the street from the main Time Machine hobbies building.

REGISTRATION 9:30, start time is 10:00, Bring copies of your list.
$20 entry , 3 rounds!
Big Prize support as 100% of the entry goes back into prize support.
The store will throw in another $100 prize support on store credit.
All winners will receive Store Credit.
ALSO ANY WHO PARTICIPATE in the tournament will be entitled to 20% off all GW product for the day of the tourney.
On top of 1st- 3rd prizes, and players choice, and best painted. All entrants will also be entered to win gift certificates. Random Draw when tourney is over. (last year we gave away 2 $50 certificates)
YES any store credit won can still be used with the 20% discount!

There is no Painting requirement, but please do not show up with a fully assembled plastic army. Get some sort of paint/primer on majority of your army.
Also please try to comply with wysiwyg, anything not please email me prior so I know ahead of time.




40k restrictions:
1850 points.
No mysterious terrain or objectives. (unless specified in scenario).
Fortifications: defense line & Bastion are ok.
Warlord powers will be done with each player nomination two tables to roll on, and then rolling once on each table, taking the power of their choice.
All forces must use their most recent codex, including WD replacements.
No IA lists, though FW models may be used to represent a normal codex entry where appropriate.
This event will not use "Mysterious Objectives"
This event will not use "Mysterious Terrain" (p.102-103).
This event will not use "Archotech Artefacts" (p 106).
This event will not use "Unique Terrain" (p. 107).
This event will not usae any fortifications beyond the Defense Line and Bastion (using the rules from warhammer 40k rule book)
This event will not allow Escalation
This event will not allow Stronghold Assault
This event will not allow Dataslate formations
This event will allow Dataslate characters.
During this event any 2+ save that is rerolled suffers a -2 penalty to the reroll (effectively making it a 2+/4+) , and no this does not mean a successful terminator save forced to be rerolled will now suffer the -2 (Like Malediction/misfortune)

Todd, stupid/simple question, but when you state that all players will roll off two tables for Warlord traits - This doesn't supersede if the player is bringing a warlord that dictates its warlord trait, correct? Just making sure, it'd actually be a benefit for me but I wanted to check first.

No sorry, if you bring any Special Character as your warlord and he comes stock with his own trait, that is the one you will use.

Not at all, that's how I figured it was being played. Otherwise there's some really lovely things you'd be doing to a number of armies!
