I'd like to know what loyal chapters have battle traits which could be similar to those used by the traitor legions, before they turned. Like the Emperor's Childrens' gracefulness with blades, and the Iron Warriors trait of bringing down heavy fortifications.

So far the only one with a close link to a traitor legion is the Blood Ravens, who seem to share the Thousand Sons' liking of psychic powers.

I'd like some help with filling out the rest please.

In general, the traitor legions had diametric parallels in the loyalists.

Black Legion / Ultramarines are statesmen and empire builders (originally, Black Legion have gone off the rails since).
Iron Warriors / Imperial Fists are siege defenders.
Night Lords / Raven Guard are rapid assault and shock/fear tactics
Alpha Legion / Alpha Legion are infiltration and deception.
Thousand Sons / Blood Angels are psychic bull asterisks.
World Eaters / Space Wolves are brutal close assault.
Death Guard / Dark Angels are patient and methodical (well, they were - the DA have wandered like the BL)).

I can't think of the rest right now. >>

I would have compared the Death Guard to the Iron Hands personally, but I guess when I think of both of them I get the whole 'lolno I'm not really dead, just more diseased/mechanical than before' thing, rather than any particular battle tactics. And I would have gone Word Bearers/Ultramarines.

I wish I had time for all the game systems I own, let alone want to own...
