Could someone explain flyers to me, as far as cover is concerned.

Logic would tell me they are high above the field and get no cover save. I don't thinkt he Heldrake gets a jink save under normal conditions.

If I am placed behind a large building does true line of sight matter or is it just understood hes up in the air for all to see?

If there are supporting rules please note them so I can use them as reference.

No where in the rules for flyers or fmc does it change or modify how they get cover so they still follow normal rules

Don't bring logic into game rules, it will always turn out bad.

True line of sight for cover, for all units, unless otherwise noted in a units exceptions to the normal rules.

Vehicles have permission to gain a cover save Iff they are 25% obscured.

Flyers that are 25% obscured gain a cover save Iff they do not have a rule forbidding them to gain said cover save.

IF A allows B
and C is A
then C allows B, Assuming C=/=D

If Vehicles that are 25% obscured gain a cover save
and flyers are vehicles
then Flyers that are 25% obscured gain a cover save, assuming Flyers do not have a rule that states otherwise.

Now I ignore cover saves so I don't care in the slightest, but unless flyers have a rule which says "they don't get the cover save for being 25% obscured", then they can be 25% obscured and thus, gain a 5+ cover save.

That's the only logic that comes into games rules. Common sense is not the same as logic.

I'm still trying to figure out why my Crone/Harpy is flying in the air at the start of the game even though she is on the ground.

Are you advocating modelling for advantage, Scipio?

I have a peanut allergy. It's really inconsiderate.

Before the final blow was struck, I tore open a portal in space and flung him into the Warp, where my evil is law! Now the fool seeks to return to real-space, and undo the evil that is Chaos!"

I think he's advocating modeling for disadvantage.
