I just finished my third of three Dark Eldar Ravagers. All pieces magnetized. Please let me know what you think. Also, the pictures are basic: I don't have boxes, good lighting or fancy backgrounds :(

This was a shot of the first one I painted, posted previously:

Fantastic work. Definitely inspired me when determining color selection for my beginning DE army. Very clean work which pays off greatly in their overall look. Thanks for sharing.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

Very sharp lines. The aethersails look quite funky as well.

Everybody keeps talking about your line work (which is incredible) but I have to know, how did you accomplish your aethersail effect? It's amazing and otherworldly. You should do a tutorial on this.

Nice stuff for sure. I noticed the sails actually seem to shift color from pic to pic. I was trying to figure out what was going on, then it donned on me. Is it some sort of color shifting film or plastic cut to the shape of the sail?

^ That's it precisely!

As far as the lines are concerned, I used GW brushes at first and they were terrible. Now that I switched to proper series 7 brushes it makes a world of difference as you'll see in my blog (link in sig) this week where I'll post some pics of the venom I've started detailing.

I must have those sails!! Seriously, if you could share a link to the product you used it would be great. I have a buddy who has a dark eldar army I am painting for him and those sails would look fabulous.

The only English on the packet is HiQparts. Not sure if you can order them outside Japan.
