What if the British won the War of 1775 (aka the American Revolution) but lost the Napoleonic Wars? Would the British Empire have collapsed, or assuming the Royal Family was willing and able to relocate to the New World, would they simply cut their losses in Europe and concentrate on rebuilding their domain from the Americas?
