I have a view of what I want the core of my list to look like but I need some help finishing it out, I keep running into mental blocks.

Things I have been playing with in the list:
-Genestealers
-Hormagaunts
-Tunneling Rippers
-Shrikes
-Hive Crones
-Carnifexes
-Deathleaper
-A CC Prime
-Spore Mines

Something to note: Fliers are almost nonexistent in my meta...

Out of your list the most competitive thing to add would be some Carnifexes. Also i'd check out the Mawloc, he's ALOT of fun especially when he hits and you already have Lictors to ensure no scatter. That ensures perhaps 2 STR6 AP2 large blasts without scatter and a 6W T6 TMC in their faces.

The Crones are also quite good, their Vector Strike is amazing for taking out other flyers, and all in all they handle their own. You have a good start, adding another Flyrant would really benefit you also!

I could fit in a crone, 2 fexes and still have around 200 points

I could get in 10 stealers + broodlord or 2 x 7 stealers
