Hey guys, the one thing I Really want to keep here is Vect, as he leads my black kabal! I'm wondering what you guys think of this list, it's not going to be playing in a tourney or anything, I just want it to kick ass and take slaves for commoragh! So, here goes:

The only thing I was thinking of regarding AA is that DE is quick enough to outmanuever the firing arc of most flyers.
I'm really worried about anti tank tbh, and if I Field flyers I lose a lot of the necessary alpha strike turn 1.

Doesnt work, I tried doing that as well with a similar list but no Vect. Heldrakes or FMC will simply glance the transports to death and then assault the contents of the vehicles. You need viable anti air...

Venoms seem very good against fmc spam.

I'm just wondering, against fmc spam what other targets would be more valuable to shoot at, than snap firing at FMCs?

Who said anything about spam, even 1 FMC can soak up loads of those shots.
Try the list and see how it works out. But I can guarantee you after a couple of losses because of some Flyers (Armored not FMC) going around the board unchecked you will change your mind.
Razorwing Jetfighters are much better than Ravagers unfortunately, I used to run 3 myself but now I am down to 1 and 2 Razorwings.
You would be best dropping the 2 10 man warrior squads down to 5 man and taking 2 more Venoms and using the 90 points you have saved to get some anti air.
The alternative is to use Eldar Allies and spam scatter lasers. They can kill FMC and armored flying Vehicles.
You cant run a pure DE list without AI, it just doesnt work.

Your list is based around taking the best advantage of going first, yes? If so then nightfields far outstrip flickerfields on Raiders due to having first turn ensures you get your 5+ jink save, invalidating the invul in most circumstances. I would only consider flickers a must in a HEAVILY tau populated environment. Nightfields also synergise very well with slinter racks, being because splinter racks wants to be at about 24'' which is exactly where nightfields want to be. For Vects ride I would suggest dropping Flickerfields and getting aethersails instead for faster delivery. Also heavily consider using Incubi for his bodyguards, they are MUCH more survivable and infinitely more killy, they also fit the fluff better and look awesome.

I will absolutely consider incubi. I just figured wyches were some extra troops that can also pop a tank or two.
My reasning for the flickers instead of nightshields were thqt splinter rifles and racks arent exactly long range. So i figured night sheilds wouldnt mitigate that much.

To the coterie, it is at short range that nightshields really get there use. Lets assume you are shooting at Marines with Bolters at almost exactly 24'' away with 8 splinter rifles and a splinter cannon (I would usually advise against the blaster in this unit, at the best of times I won't be in range). ith nightshields the marines range is only 18'', ''but they can move 6'' I hear you say. That's the idea, they need to move the full 6 '' to be in range, so what happens when you kill of 2/3 marines giving you about 1/2 inches further away? It means next turn they won't be in range to shoot, rinse, repeat. Nightshields don't help vs anti tank weapons such as missiles and las cannons because of here massive range, they really come into there own at limiting mid/sort range weapons, as they simply invalidate most Melta weapons and really limits rapid fire that glaces your boats todeath oh so often.
As for Wyches Vs Incubi, quite simply, if you are using Vect in an anti tank unit you are wasting about 100pts of CC goodness. 9 wyches on the charge not assuming drugs kills 3 marines, 5 Incubi kills about 7 (11 hits with preferred enemy, 6/7 wounds) for the same amount of points. They also have a much better save and have AP 2 weapons making that pain token so much easier to get.

9 wyches should kill more than 3 marines... Still you are correct, incubi are much better as a retinue.

Your right, i was wrong, they kill less. I didn't include drugs stat increases but i am sure you can imagine what would happen., but without them they are getting 3 attack each (27 attacks) hitting on 4's (13) wounding on 5's (4 wounds) killing 1 and a bit marines. Wow that is bad!

Perhaps I can't count either
I run my wyches with 2 haemos. fc and drugs can be epic!
