Hey everyone,

I have rhino here, which is fully assembled and glued together. Recently I noticed that the rear door that used to remain closed now opens by itself while the vehicle is completely horizontal. Is there any way to increase the firmness of the hinges' hold on the back door without glueing it shut or having to take it apart?

By the way, I noticed many non-40k players might be very confused by this post

You could magnetize it pretty easily. Drill a small hole in the top of the frame and the door and throw some magnets in there.

Alternatively, a thin strip of tape may be able to make the surface tense enough to hold.

Mine did the same thing. I decided there is no real reason to have it open. I just glued mine closed so it would not bother me falling open.

I know... I just can't bring myself to glue it shut after I painted the inside...

I'm going to try something like blu-tac first and attempt to magnetize it should that fail to work.

Small magnets. I'm sure there's a YouTube video tutorial.

I used rubber bands to hold it together when I built it.
It gave the model a nice tight fit on the door and it stays closed unless I squeeze the hull (just enough flex to pop it open).

We had a guy in the local shop who had a whole mechanized guard company and all his vehicles used tiny craft springs from hobby lobby to stay shut. They had very little pressure so they opened easily, and he just put a little plastic block thing at the base to keep it from closing. Really awesome. I will see if I can get pics of it.

I'd go magnets. They're really easy to pop in and you won't have to worry about it after that.

The springs do sound cool as well though.

Would a couple of extra coats of paint around the inside of the frame work? Just let it dry before closing it obviously.
