AP 5 doesn't make to much of a differance so the brainleech worm devourers are worth the investment. Not sure about deathleaper, I honestly feel like his points would be better spent on deathspitters for the Warriors or upgrades for the stealers/more of them.
Deathspitters cause half the damage of devourers for about one third of the price, and they're cheap, which is what's good for fexes, especially stranglefexes.
(When you're looking to wound infantry, the deathspitter is a better buy for it's points, honestly, it was run spitters or scytals.
When taking devourers you should always take 2 sets.
Deathleaper has been invaluable for his
LD reduction rule and for wasting torrents and torrents of enemy fire. (Last game he took about 3/4ths of a Tau player's army's shooting in a turn to take down...)
The Broodlord hunting pack can choose to deploy within ruins 6" or more away from enemy units when they come in from reserves...they also gain preferred enemy against one nominated enemy unit.
